As a teenager I began to develop an interest in yoga as an alternative to the "Jane Fonda" aerobic workouts popular at that time. I enjoyed working with bodies, exploring aromatherapy and massage classes at this time too.
Through my twenties, my yoga practice ebbed and flowed with my lifestyle, and I'd still not even joined a yoga class! My travels though in my early thirties showed me the joy of practicing in community or "sangha" with others, and that was it- I was in!
Fast forward through the next couple of decades to 2018, when the stresses of working as a charity events coordinator with a toxic manager, and the decision to walk away from that took me off to Rishikesh in India to train as a yoga teacher.
This was the pivot that has changed my life, and now my mission is to share that evolution and transformation with you.
Fun fact: in 2003 I participated in the Spencer Tunick Be Consumed naked art installation in Selfridges store, London!
